Would not fully inflate and non-existent customer support.

I have a number of inflatable decorations for Christmas and Halloween so I know how they work and details of operation. I bought this and it would not inflate fully. I checked for leaks, zipper not closed, good power cord, etc and no luck. I called the Gemmy 800 number but that only directs you to the Gemmy website. I called their corporate offices and was told that Gemmy Customer Service does not have any telephones and will not talk to its customers. I emailed Gemmy and detailed exactly what the problem was and the fact that if I have to return it ( probably a 2 week turnaround to ship and get a replacement) I will miss most of the Christmas season. Gemmy's response was clearly a canned response and they never even bothered to read my email. There are only a few other companies out of hundreds that I have dealt with that clearly do not care about their customers (Comcast, Stihl, Carrier) and Gemmy is near the top of my list. I will never buy another Gemmy product. If you do then be prepared for non-existent customer support if you have any problems.
I really wanted to keep this so I did some more checking and found the reason it would not fully inflate, it was leaking at many of the seams. Whoever sewed this product did a really lousy job and the stitching was sparse so as to allow leakage. Unfortunately there were so many leaks that there was no way to fix it. Talk about total lack of quality control and probably zero testing of the finished product. Apparently Gemmy's attitude is just sell it to the customer anyway and maybe they will not bother to return it.

TALK TO YOUR DOLLARS BUT NOT TO YOU!

GEMMY INDUSTRIES THEY REFUSE TO HELP THE CUSTOMER AND THEY JUST LOST ONE 12/4/2013.
We purchased several hundreds of dollars in icicle lights, this inflatable and others, as well as more products. We've used their company before but never had a problem until today.
PROBLEM it started out with: Their manual has every way NOT to hang something or where NOT to place it, yet in no way does it tell you how to correctly set up many of their products.
I refuse, absolutely refuse, to not be able in this day and age of electronic info at a speedy pace to spend the kind of money we do with a company that does NOT PLACE CUSTOMERS FIRST, but is eager to take their money. The corporate "operator told me she'd make sure anything I wrote on Amazon got erased- really????
So, we are returning over $700 of not only the icicle lightshow, but inflatables and other items as well. Beware of this company, be very aware. Saw a similar review from ONE YEAR old- this company has no excuses doing business this way.

but it is a fun decoration and large enough. The faces on the blowups are adorable and it was a great price considering most Nativity scenes I looked up were super pricey.
